When someone posts a rejection for help/opinions, how do you view the thread? Do you look at the rejection prior to reading the replies, or visa-versa?

I like to look at the rejection first so I don't form a bias based on everyone else's opinions before I even see the shot.

I try to purposely mislead, so it doesn't matter much if I look first or not.

I look first and then confirm my suspicions when everyone else replies. Too bad I can't take my own advice.

I always look at the picture first, then read the replies and usually find that somebody has already said what I was going to say

I kind of do a "blend." First I analyze the photo, carefully, just as I do my own shots. What was good? What were the flaws? I then look at the "official" rejection and see how this matches up to my own analysis. After forming my own opinion I will then glance at what others have thought. When I get around to posting a comment I've then made my own analysis, tried to figure out if the official rejection was very accurate, and then see how it played with others. This gives me a context to make my own comments, I suppose.

I don't comment on very many of these requests. Mostly that's due to my time constraints--it is time consuming to carefully look over a photo. It's also partly due to some of the photos have such obvious flaws that I don't think I can add anything not already said.

I look at the photo first. I also don't really care about the screeners rejection reason since there is usually other things wrong or I will see the screener's rejection reason myself. I like to make my decision before I see the screener's. Now if I see a good photo, I then put thought into the screener's rejection reason.

I look at the photo, the reason for rejection, and then the replies. Most of the time, the reason for rejection and replies are very similar. When they are not, I often mention something that I thought might have been a problem but was overlooked by the screeners.
