Foreground clutter?

Ok, I am not disputing the PEQ rejection here, but I am wondering what the foreground clutter is here? Is is the pit poles, or is it the car and the engine in front of the locomotive, that is obviously part of the scene?

but the rejection would be for the chains, and poles in my opinion

Janusz said it once, Loyd said it twice, I say it three times. Poles and chains. At first, I thought you were talking about foreground clutter, referring to the engine. Given the engine is blocked by the car and engine, you could account that as foreground clutter. BUT, it appears as though the engine is not the main subject, so that may be reason for you not being hit with FC.



If you weren't rejected for FC, why ask if you should have been rejected?

Not so much a case of 'can I fit this engine in my car ?' More 'can I fit my car in this engine' ?

Thanks Christine! They are huge engines, though the picture doesn't do much to show how heavy they are, weighing almost 25 tons!
