Maybe shorten them up on the bottom, as for the other one, personally I don't like it.

Wrong rejection reason - surprised you have not yet become accustomed to the aspect ratios tolerated on RP.
The crop is PERFECT. And it's a great shot - the first one the best and the rest get progressively worse, lol.
I think it's simply an odd aspect ratio. A bit too tall without being a vertical.
Best guess- go wider if you can, or chop some off the bottom (though you will end up with half a sign pole leading to a temptation to simply "move" it up higher in the frame from where it is).
As for the last - underexposed, that's easy. Expose it more. I like it as is - one of those shots you think you'll wow the audience only to have a reject instead. Again - the fix is often make it LOOK less underexposed by brightening up the image, the contrast or shadow detail can do wonders.

Don't forget to deal with Nikos' comment. The selection of the sky in processing went bad in many parts of the image.

I'd go vertical, as the speed limit sign and a train covered by trees isn't doing much for me.

Was this image used in HDR photo processing software? Ive had that kind of effect with the sky and trees before on some nature HDR shots ive done.

Na, it's not an HDR, the sky was kind of blown out so I used a mask and selectively darkened part of it, I might try to do a better job as I am not terribly pleased with how it turned out myself
Maybe I should have just left it blown out, those type things get on a lot lately...

Use the magic wand and turn Contiguous off. Then expand selection by a pixel or two and apply a 1-2 px gaussian blur to it.

Troy's rejection is less square than a 5:4 ratio crop, which is a pretty common ratio used on RP.
I agree with Mitch above (and obviously Troy's idea of the right crop for this scene) that it is perfect.
