Bad Cropping

Hey Guys,

It appears I have lost my eye for cropping lately, as I can't get past some Bad Cropping rejects, so thought I would put it to the people and see what comes back

I figured I must have left a bit too much room, especially on the RHS, so I tried a tighter crop, resulting in:

In the second one, I can see it needs a touch of CW rotation, so that's not my worry at the moment, more the cropping issue. Any ideas?

Bad cropping can mean overall problems with the crop, but it can also mean that you have something specific sticking into the image, in this case, a fragment of a sign of some sort, bottom right.

To me it looks too tight on the left and right and I would add more on top and just a wee bit less on the bottom. And some CW rotation.

In regards to that sign, yes, next time i'm back at that spot, I really need to knock the darn thing down!!

We can advise you with advice.

Study the rule of thirds. The front to the train should have been on the lower left intersection point. As it is, the train front is too far to the left.

Do you have a wider crop?

And yes, the sign post that J pointed out is not helping.
