Any ideas if this is possible

I liked this location how it has the tunnel and the tower but the anti-pedestrian fences really make it hard to shoot.

It looks tight on the sides. I am guessing that what you could add to the right of the signal is unattractive? EXIF says you shot at 80mm, try wider. But I'm not sure of what the screener's objection is, I'll await other opinions.

Note that, when you rotated the image, you left a bit in the upper right corner as blank. (Another reason to shoot a little wider.)

The problem is, if I shoot any wider, you would see the beginning of the fence between the tracks. I thought that might be a distracting element.

- shoot wider on the right, but not on the left
- time it a few seconds earlier so the train doesn't crowd the left edge

Tell them to better comply with their stated issue, you made no corrections nor edit and would like to appeal the shot.

I agree with Mitch.

I'd do an appeal after correcting your cropping boo-boo that J noted. Three of my last four photos had to be appealed to be accepted.

The Judge is approachable, just state your case with tact and respect. Good Luck!

No doubt you meant the signal and Prudential tower to be parts of the composition, but being 'way over on the right makes it distracting. Don't know how ugly the pedestrian fence is, but a tiny fraction of it on the right may not be too bad.

The alternative would to be brutal. Crop from the right and top. Still won't get the train exactly in the preferred RP sweet spot, but closer.

I agree with Janusz, a frame with the train closer to the tunnel or a wider angle lens would be easier to work with.
