I may have better pictures in general but I think that, tehcnically, this is was my best train-tram picture so far. Let me know if you see another one you think would be more suitable for submission here.

This is why I posed the question. I still think it's a good picture to be honest. Maybe not good enough for the level of the website. Fair enough. But it is also fair to ask the question "why not?".

I like your train pictures. Your flickr picture of the Budapest-tram has more light in it than mine for sure. But from an artistic point of view I still appreciate the golden-hour light tone of my picture.

I think your landscape/urban portfolio is much stronger than the rail one. Personally I really like this one, I don't know if it will get accepted but its a great image showing the railway in its urban context.

That particular spot in Budapest is full of opportunity with the market hall and the green iron bridge to the other side, I'd hope you shot more than just a tightly cropped shot of the tram.

Niko I think you are right on both remarks.
I've submitted the sepia one but it was rejected because the tram is slightly out of focus.

I will submit the 1st on but I would like make it a bit brighter first using post-processing
