How would you change / improve the color of this one ?

Reduce the impact of the glowing greenery and up the red? Maybe needs some more contrast as well because it looks very washed out too (like a lot of shadow recovery was used)?

Color cast? Gimme a break!

The so-called better rejection reasons of a few years back failed to provide much guidance. How difficult is it to type "too green" or "too magenta"? It looks like "foreign" shots still have a higher bar to overcome compared to USA/Canada.

Lately I think non US/Canada is well represented esp steam. Oddly the Mexico photo I posted in February is still the last one.

You could almost go with the dreaded "Foreground clutter" on this one. The tall Pampas grass shoot is distracting to say the least, and much of the foreground just doesn't add anything to the shot.

If we are talking straight color here to stay in line with why the screener supposedly rejected this shot, I would say less green, more red.
