Default Upload failed

For the past few days I've gotten an "upload failed" message when submitting a photo. I've successfully entered dozens of photos over the past few weeks and I don't know of any change on my end. Has anything changed on the receiving side ? What could the problem be and why the sudden emergence of the problem ? Thanks.

I can't recall what the message is if you do so, but make certain you do not have any special characters in your file name (such as &). I had that character in a file name once, and could not upload it. The resulting message did not indicate the file name was invalid; only that the upload was unsuccessful.

I rescanned a slide to remove an ampersand from the file name and resubmitted it -- the upload worked which shows that the upload failure had been due to an & in the file name. Thanks again Mike.
