It just doesn't pop out at me. It doesn't *look* in focus either, though maybe it is. I like the framing and the small train/big scene view. Maybe you have another frame or can photoshop this into something a little more eye catching. Ultimately, I agree with the rejection.

Soft, subject is a bit too far away and the dimensions need to be brought up to spec. Not a bad photo by any means; quite nice. But it just needs a bit of work. Thanks for contributing.

I liked the first crop, but I'm not a screener. The second one looks too tight to me. My eyes might not be the best to judge, but the IQ seems better on the second shot. But it still might not make RP. Like J.E. said, keep working on it. There's a really nice shot in there somewhere.
