On the first shot, it appears you have some lens distortion going on. Maybe try to work with removing the distortion if you have that option in your processing software.

The first shot just looks funky weird. The first thing I did was to look and see how wide the lens is, I was expecting something much wider than 22mm. The change of grade right to left (appears as steep -> flatter), the resulting U-shape of the track, being on the outside of the curve, it all seems "off" somehow. The mound of stone lower right corner is distracting, and in general the shot feels cramped. Not a fan.

The other one, it gives me a strong feeling of their being something important off to the left. Something about the angle of light.

I agree with J on the first one; it just feels like an awkward composition. There's got to be a better perspective at that location.
