Thumbs up Comments we never get to see.

I would like to thank the anonymous person who attempted to leave the following comment on the picture below.

It is too bad that you choose to not identify yourself, as I would have enjoyed a full dissertation as to why "all my shots" are not just shit, but fall into the realm of "complete shit."

It really is too bad comments of such value are edited out of the comment field, as negative comments are often as important, if not more important to the artistic process than are positive ones.

BTW - I thought you didn't click on RP links.

A) Nice shot, I like it.

B) What exactly is the demarcation between shit and complete shit? Is not all shit, by its definition, a composite of multiple previously ingested items, and thus never completely all one thing, unless one's diet is absolutely singular (and even then of only an item that is not a composite of other materials)?

C) Good to see that screening process on comments is working.

Wink Philosophy 101

Well I am open to criticism, but just saying something is "complete shit" without anything more is of no consequence at all.

I mean, if a person cannot articulate why something is "complete shit," what is the value of their opinion?

Moreover, as you opined Charles, I fail to see a difference between just plain "shit," and something that is "complete shit."

Is shit not shit?

Or is shit something more?

Complete shit is made up of food that has been more thoroughly digested.

Of course, the poster may have been referring not to the item, but rather to the action - in which case only a complete one is satisfying.

I leveled it with the side of the grain train cab nearest the left side of the image, out of curiosity, what part of the image would you level off?

Hint - the ground in the near horizon slopes to the right naturally.

For me, this photo hasn't "made it" until it's been added into the "Slutty Llama Anal Rape" album.

Oh, I forgot about the "Slutty Llama Anal Rape" album, and no, my shot is not in there yet.

I can only hope that it will soon be selected for such an auspicious honor.

You could always level it with the vertical on the nose of the closest loco, or level it with the vertical of the signal in the background. Both of those verticals are leaning to the right.

Yes, that is what I used.

The front of the nearest loco is what the screeners seem to be attracted to, so that is what I usually use even when the background is about to fall over.

Looking at the vertical on the nose of that loco, it's still unlevel. It's leaning a little to the right.
