Default Colour help

Seems like we've had an abundance of thought-provoking discussion lately, so let's get back to criticizing other peoples' rejects. Ideas?

Time to join the digital age!

Bought a Nikon D5100 a little over a year ago, been quite happy with it.

But nothing to add on the color side of things

It has a reddish cast, it needs contrast and a bit of saturation probably.

Nice shot, needs more saturation and contrast. Quality isn't too good though, as it looks over-sharpened.

Not feelin' the composition. Almost feels like two images in one. Perhaps if you were zoomed out more to show a bigger scene, that might make it work.

Unfortunately, early-morning shadows (and prime lenses) prevented me from going any wider.
