Enjoy!

Well, it's at least doing outstanding on flickr. I appealed, no dice. I clearly didn't change my ISO from shooting the train on the left coming out of the tunnel, to shooting this at a much smaller ISO. Rookie mistake. I thought the coolness factor would overtake. Not so much

Honestly as long as that shot wasn't heavily photo shopped... I love it. Deserves to be on 100%.

I personally have had a problem with those trying to tell us to turn railroad photography into an "art form." It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

It's a great photo ... but. I don't mind noise if the focus is sharp, but I'm not seeing sharp. The crop is also a little tight. If you could pull back a bit, it might help the overall sharpness.

At least some of the apparent lack of sharpness could potentially be due to a loss of detail as a result of noise reduction adjustments. That's the trade-off with noise reduction software. As the noise is removed, so is the detail.

It is an interesting angle, but there is a ton of noise and its not very sharp. I think the rejection is valid. Sometimes you miss the shot :'(

The noise, blurriness, and appearance of editing abuse ruins it for me.

Out of focus and oversharpened in attempt to save it, glad the screeners are actually sticking to their own rules for once.

On the flip side of that, it would be a SC if submitted by someone else
