Blast! If I wasn't already in my underpants I'd drive to Red Wing now and wait for the next pair of GP38's to doddle by and prove all of you (except for Ween) wrong.

I am going to have to side with Travis on this one. There is one element in the photo that drives me to that side. The beaming headlights in the snow is the draw for me. I love the framing in this photo, the train looks right at home centered in the middle. The beaming lights would probably be lost in a wider or higher crop, in addition to blah noisy sky.

Regarding NB's photoshop wider crop, If I remember correctly from passing through on Amtrak, the crossing signal is a cantilever so any crop would cut off leading out of the frame.

Excellent shot Travis, I do believe you nailed this one.
