I was wondering if I could get some thoughts/opinions on a rejected pan shot. The rejection reason was soft but it looks ok to me based on the number boards and road number on the cab. I thought there might not be enough motion blur and could be the reason for the rejection.

Aside from what you listed, everything else is very soft, the trucks, the fuel tank, etc. You could sharpen a little more in PS, but the brush in the foreground the next step, along with a centered rejection. Take this as a learning experience, keep for the personal archives, and keep trying.
Thanks for being a second set of eyes. I was so focused (no pun intended...I think, lol) on the numberboard and the road numbers on the cab that I completely overlooked the rest.
I could recrop to avoid the centered rejection but I think for now I'll file this one away in my personal folder. Besides, that means I'll have to make another trip to try again. (Yeah, my arm is really being twisted there! lol)
To my eyes, it looks like the cab numbers were selectively sharpened in post processing. With a pan shot, as you get further away from the sweet spot (the numberboards on the nose), everything should get softer and softer the further you go. The cab windows above the numbers is soft, as well as the battery box and the second and third axles of the lead truck directly under the numbers. That's why the semi-sharp cab numbers stick out so much to me.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I want to try some different things outside the normal shots. The feedback helps point out what I did wrong and what to do to correct the next time.
