Default Help for bad crop

Hi all, my name is Pier Francesco an I come from Florence, Italy.
I just started photgraphing trains, so I am not expert in croppng rules.

I got this picture rejected, how can I improve it?

RP does not much care for the subject being in the middle, either horizontally or vertically. Here, the train is halfway between top and bottom. As I find the bridge underneath more interesting than the highway way in the back of the top, I suggest you crop off the top some and, to balance the dimensions, crop off the left side also.

Welcome to the hobby! I have visited Florence and ridden trains from there, but alas was not taking photographs at that time.

Hi,
thank you for answering me and for your welcome!

I "come" from plane spotting, where one of the basilar rules is that "plane should be in the middle of frame", and this applies to the majority of cases!

I edited my picture following your advice, this is the result:

If you could add a bit on the bottom and remove some on the top, that would be preferable.

Yes, things much different here than in plane pictures. The "rule of thirds" is a good concept to understand and apply.
