Suggestions: no basic CN/CP snow wedgies, let's see your really good and interesting stuff. And as much red as possible, not just a small red engine in a big scenic frame.
Great idea for a thread, J, and there's been some really great stuff posted so far. I was able to come up with a bunch of my shots that feature red as a dominant color.

(I know it's CN, but I love the red engines hauling red stacks with the red and white crane in the background.)

A nearby shortline, the Black River & Western, can be a haven for red shooters when they are running a certain GP9.

I actually thought of you as I wrote that, although I did not write that with you as a target. If that makes any sense.

Rather, I wanted to see some cool new shots. I look at CN/CP snow shots all the time, just because red/snow is such a nice combination that the shot always looks terrific. So I wanted to see stuff I don't usually see.

I too can do CP/snow (albeit with a rather grungy look, lots of brown)

The thread has turned out great, a lot of really interesting shots. And we have gotten our CN/CP dose for the day.

Y'know... I thought I had a "red" deficiency with the bulk of my images being black steam engines but a quick scroll through my collection proves otherwise!

Red is good!
