LoL, what you gonna do with more than 100 channels? There are 99 AAR frequencies + the EOT frequency, thats all you need.

Unless you want to snoop on the cops and the fire department, but most of them have gone to digital and/or 800+ mhz with trunking which most scanners cant pick up

Rural fire departments and cop shops are not that advanced yet out here in the sticks, so most are not using trunking systems. I also listen to air traffic frequencies. Listen in to some local businesses as well. All 200 channels will be filled for fun by me.

I'm a big boy now so I have to buy my toys with my own money

I did get enough time off work to enjoy a day in Muskoka foaming. Fortunately the sun was on vacation by the time I got up there (typical in winter), so nothing that will ever grace RP.

Got some more reading done on the parallels between the American and French Revolutions trackside... yup, I learn stuff while foaming that isn't train related.

My 22+ year old scanner has 60 channels, of which maybe 25 are programmed, of which maybe 5-7 are of any real use, plus the two SBU (EOT in Canuck) channels. 200 hundred seems overkill, but I know that alot of people love listening into emergency and other frequencies... everyone has their vice.
