Default Bad Cropping rejects.

These two photos were rejected for bad cropping. Does anyone know what I can do to them to make them better? Thanks,

They're probably cropped too tight...leave some breathing room on the right...

I think the angle at which the photo was taken make these rejectable.

The first one is nice, I like it but... my pet peeve... no place for the loco to go on the right. Leave some more room.

The second I'd let go... the angle is kinda weird.

Thanks everyone for your help! I left some more room near the front of 463, and it got accepted!

Thanks guys! 450 got there first (on time) and after about 2-3 minutes stopped, I was wondering why it wasn't leaving the station. Sure enough here comes 463, 30 minutes late, with her bell on. If 463 hadn't been late, I would have never gotten this shot.

Default H E L P!!! Request from a newbie

I am new at this, and have already learned a lot from the photos I've had rejected (you know, those "Duh, why didn't I think of that?" kind of moments).

But I'm looking for a little help with these. Maybe a little guidance will help me finally get a photo accepted.

What can I do to improve these?:

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=215291
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=215288

(The last one was a little funny for me, since they were talking on the radio about how some people should get jobs instead of taking pictures of people doing their job.)

The 1st and 3rd need to be cropped tighter. The 2nd one has that tree in it, which can't be fixed.
