Default For all of you Canon shooters out there...

Check this blog out, you may re-think your camp for action shots! The D300, D700, D3 and D3x all share this autofocus module.

-Nope shot Nikon for 20 years, and switched to Canon in 2003, and never looked back since Canon had a 12mp full frame body back in 2002, and it took Nikon a half-decade to match it, and topped it off with an $8K 24mp body without an integrated dust removal system. I do miss Nikon's wide-angles however.......

Those aren't trains!

Anyways, yep, that video was so good they convinced me to drop all my Canon gear and move to Nikon. C'mon That video gave no good info what so ever. I hear the same song and tune at any used car lot.

Wink

Travis, I'm not trying to convince anyone to switch brands! Just to show the great autofocus capabilities of the newest Nikon bodies. And yes, it is slightly superior to Canon's AF modules. Either brand will do you justice tho.

Both companies make a good product, I myself wouldn't own a DSLR that wasn't made by Canon or Nikon. I would love to ditch my D80 for a D300 just for the frame rate and the 51 point AF though.

I know. I was just making the point that the video did a bad job at showing anything about Nikon let alone the autofocus system.

Looks like a Nikon infomercial to me. My Canon seems to focus just fine. Kevin Madore will find this video nice, the photographer is using a eye loupe at 3:00! haha

Well, if one thinks about it 98% of the shots are at Infinity not to hard for the camera, Nikon or Canon. Not the hard test they make it out to be. One can't go wrong with ether brand now.
