Default 2 more rejections for bad lighting!

LOL I don't get these two at all! Poor lighting? What's next, too much sun!

Summertime = high sun angles which despite popular belief isn't always great for photography. Look at the trucks on those shots, they are totally dark and in shadow. Unless it is something that is pretty rare, we would like to see better (less harsh) lighting than that.

Cool

"Look at the trucks on those shots, they are totally dark and in shadow."

I guess you'll have to go against nature's natural lighting and lighten them even though you can hardly see them.

Both are nice shots. The trucks may be in the shade of the loco body, but there is enough ambiant light that the details are still there. Don't let the rejection get you down.

Trucks or not, this one: http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=133974 is a great photo. I like these 'in your face' shots!

Well it's just been sitting in the cue all morning, who knows what's going on but it seems it's being bypassed for some reason.

REJECTED!!!!

Reason for Rejection: Bad color (not enough color depth or too much color saturation)

Amazing!!! It can't look anymore like it did with my own two eyes than the photos depicts!

I would let that one go. There are plenty of pics that don't make it, believe me.

Actually, I like the first upload attempt better, before the lightening of the trucks.

Concur. The lightened spots where the shadows were lying in the first shot look odd in the second...
