New Years Day Railfanning?

Anyone know if CSX/NS will be working tomorrow? I would like to do some railfanning and photography with the kids. It may not be worth it if nothing is going on.

Aside from the fact that this belongs in the US Class I Railroads forum, my understanding is that NS is playing catch up this weekend from the blizzard. I'm not sure about CSX.

Might help to know were you are, too. There may be limited action somewhere and no action somewhere else.

I expect to be too hung over to do much tomorrow. Plus, I have been storing my camera sideways, so it may not even work anymore.

I would venture to guess that there will still be some trains running on the Piedmont tomorrow. But they'll probably be mostly gone by 11:00 AM, I would guess.

In case anyone else is wondering, the last train just left Greenville(Norfolk Southern). The PTI man told me that they would not resume till 12am Jan. 2.
