Izaak Walton Inn Trails

Does anyone know if any good railfan locations could be accessed via the trails around the Izaak Walton Inn?

I'm looking into the possibility of doing some snowshoeing and/or hiking for two days around there in mid-late November, but I was hoping to just use the trails around there (it's rather difficult for me to rent a car due to my age).
