I think with the second bad cropping reject, you actually cropped down way too far, not leaving any "breathing room" for your subject. Having said that, I wonder if the first rejection should have been for bad composition, and not bad cropping, in the sense that I think the contrast between the buildings occupying all the space over the front end and the empty sky over the back is kind of distracting. I'm not sure if there's a crop to resolve that issue . . . Just my $0.02

I think Jon is correct on the both of the cropping rejects...
On the first of the two cropping rejects, I am wondering if they are having a problem with the wood posts.

Do you really want a photo of a train with "Jackass 3D" plastered in large letters all over it posted on Railpictures.net?

Sure, if it's composed well and properly lit.

Daniel, does it really matter? It is advertising.

I just thought that it wouldn't be very classy, if you will, but hey, if it's a great railroad image, fine. Anyway, I was already bashed once, did you really need to jump it?

Uh you posted the original comment, and its his fault for replying?
I think the Jackass 3D reflects more poorly on the transit agency than the photographer.

Alright, alright, fine! You opened my eyes to the fact that the transit authority lacks class, not the photographer. Let's get back on subject..or drop this thread, before...

Please don't over use that. Though it might have been worthy in the "A couple I think are fine" thread, but not now.

That's starting to get abused, not to mention overused.
