It is too square for RP's taste. Also more on the right because the water column is too close.

Yeah, you are right, noy enough photo on the right, sadly it's the original that photo, I didn't re-cropped it.

This is more the type of crop RP likes.

Also the tiny branch hitting the loco kills the picture. And RP rules forbid manipulation such as cloning it out.

How to proceed is up to you!

For the first picture you could crop down to just above the top of the tree and also crop a fair amount off the bottom which would bring the dimensions down to something more "acceptable" to RPs requirements. One other problem I see is that there is a noticeable amount of pixellation round the large tree and in parts of the sky, maybe you are saving the file with too much compression?

Actually, cloning that little branch out from touching the nose of the loco wouldn't be a big deal in my book. He wouldn't be changing the scene, and had he gotten a little lower, or captured the train a second or two earlier, the branch wouldn't be an issue.

Yeah, maybe you are right Janet, the problem wera that sadly I lost the original photo in a forced format C. And the file that I have were compressed, yes.

But well, bad luck I sended it because I liked the scene but knowing that were not full quality.

Again guys (Janet, Thim, Dennis and Milwman), thanks for your points of view, only I have 54 photos on RP and I have a lot to learn and these opinions are important to grow as railway photographer.
