I have a couple. I just had a pizza during a bad storm, walked outside and the sun poked through.

I knew Travis would post some dramatic shots in this gallery. I have a few of my own, if not quite as high on the wow-factor scale...

My three favorites:

I had to dig around to find this one:

Along with Travis's shots (particularly 250045, 268840, and 238682).

Dave, with a POTW, three PCA's, and an average of 6,828 views, 67 favorites, and 10 comments a piece, you do have a decent wow-factor going on.

My favorite stormlight shot I've taken, not a train but still pretty sweet in my book

Here's my share and both happened to be pure luck with good trains too!
My only CR painted C40-8 I've caught on the point! The sun didn't pop out until he was right in my face for literally 2 seconds!
 | PhotoID: 318561 Photograph © Anthony Davis |
Luckly on my first Master's OCS chase the sun was playing a little more nicer with the storm passing by!

Hey Nikos, No SD60s in Storm light??? LMAO!

Thought I had more but I don't consider them 'storm light' shots. Seeing some of the shots here definitely made that a major goal next year!

Yeah - definitely something to keep in mind but they tend to be more of a 'seize the opportunity' type of thing than something you can really plan since you need just the right weather circumstances at the 'right place' to make it work.
Here's my favorite one of my own:

Plus another good "storm light" shot I lucked into:

Not as stormy as some of the others on here:

After taking this, we returned north to Ulm (in the direction that the camera is pointing) straight into a raging thunderstorm.
I have at least one photo featuring a rainbow which I hope to post on RP in due course (needs scanning first)

I used to have some others, but they are gone now.
Just wondering if others are having this as well. When reading through this thread, click on a photo... it will open in a new window... with a new pop-up. Are we getting a pop-up every time we open a photo? I try not to complain about it (because I do remember it is free), but a pop-up at every photo seems a bit much.

Okay, nevermind. Now it seems after 10 pop-ups it is over and done with.
