But justifiably, not here.

A little shadows and highlight (shadow fill) might help make it more appealing, however.

Frankly, Jon, you should have known better than to bother. RP has enough Amtrak heritage that a conventional wedgie is going to have to avoid just a major RP-flaw.

I'm sorry. I forgot about the absolute perfection demanded by the screeners on this site. I just thought heritage units were automatically accepted. But maybe that's just NS heritage units.

Just because that slipped in doesn't mean yours should. As for getting on the other page, it isn't screened like rp, but still has to be pretty decent.

I screen my Flickr groups similarly.

Back to your shot, major bad element in a basic wedgie with no supporting elements. Rejection 100% legit.

There was space where the baggage car is in the shot to get the whole unit in sunlight.

Not sure about everybody else, but when I set up I usually starting shooting when the train just starting to enter the frame, which I end up with about 20-30 frames, so as in this case if you went back several frames you should of had the locomotive in full sun like the car behind the baggage car is, I'm not sure how many times what I thought looked good didn't after I downloaded them, if any of that makes any sense

When you come across a train sitting at the station, you have to take what you can get as far as the lighting and the surroundings. The conditions weren't ideal, and I tried to make something out of it. RP doesn't want it, and that's ok. The shadows don't bother me as much as they do others, and I don't think they obscure as much as I've seenin other shots, but again, that's ok. I'm here partly because I'm trying to learn, so I appreciate the feedback.

I would have found out there was huritage afoot and been at the station waiting on it. The corridor trains are usually on time in Willyburg, and it would have been an easy kill.
