Left the house at 6pm on Thursday evening and drove non-stop to Deshler for a for a short rest before motoring into Chicago Friday morning. Stopped briefly at Roosevelt road and shot a few movements before checking into the hotel at Schaumburg, Illinois.

The main purpose of the trip was the WGH show where I setup and sold prints along with a friend. After setting up Friday evening, we took off for Rochelle to 'attempt' some OCF shots from the park. Train traffic was meh at best, so another attempt came Saturday Night. Unfortunately, that was a bigger bust so when the show finished up Sunday, we packed the gear down to the racetrack where things finally turned around for us. I met up with forum regulars Bob and Doug and we spent most of the night shooting whatever showed up.
After 4 hours sleep we went back to the Racetrack for the morning rush in rain and windy conditions.

We then hit the Southern Transcon between Mazon and Ransom for a few hours with more poor weather before driving back to Deshler for debauchery and sleep before driving home Tuesday.
