Default Opinions Wanted on this "Grab Shot"

OK, I like this shot but that does make it RP acceptable. I grabbed it as I was leaving the chase just for fun since the only sun in the shot is on the train. I am curious as to why you think it got axed. Is it PEQ or just not what they want to publish. JUst want to see what others see in it (or don't see in it). Be as brutal as you deem necessary. I don't get angry............... I get even

I think if the mirror was using at least 75% of the image area, maybe it would work.

This image shows too much around the mirror, which is uninteresting. Just cropping tighter on the mirror might help significantly.

You almost have to think of it as two seperate photographs. The first shot is in the mirror. It needs to be treated like an actual photo, meaning level and within the Rule of Thirds. The head of the nose needs to be closer to the edge of the mirror. Again, level the train within the mirror, too.

Secondly, crop more of the outside scene down. Wy too much unintersting landscape. Crop at some of the side of the car on the right, too. Like this.
