Default I guess I'm a photo dur-da-dur now...

Have I lost my touch? Its been a while, but good lord, 3 rejections in 3 days.

I see the undersharp, but how would you crop it differently?

WAY too much black along the bottom. It pulls your eye away from the center. For silhouettes, you generally want to see some light coming from underneath, to more clearly define your subject.

Ah, no. About 1/3 of the image is still negative space (all black.) Way too much--not working. Crop off about 75% of all that black. It detracts from the great color in the sky.

I think on a shot like that, a soft reject is really laughable.

I'm not a fan of the shot for other reasons and I think the cropping reject is accurate as well.
