The e-mail just came through and it was a bag angle. What is a good angle? I never got an e-mail for the other photo.

The bottom part of the locomotive is cut off and the photo needs to be rotated slightly CCW. Other than that, it's not all that bad.

Thanks! What do you mean by CCW?

CCW = Counter-clockwise

I went ahead and did that and re-submitted it.

How about this?

Whoever is the admin here, please note I never got an e-mail on why and it has been 20 min.

Rejected again. Sorry for whoever I went off on in the appeal. Please try and give real reasons, not ones that a kindergartener would know are incorrect and go against common sense.

Two different shots are going to get different reasons. I like the first one better, but with out the crop at the bottom. If you have one of it that shows the bottom of the trucks and the rails, try that. The other one's a whole different angle.

Guessing the second one would've been rejected on back lighting and/or foreground clutter. Keep trying.

The reason is that it is not backlit. I explained this in the rejection and I got an answer back and I replied and thanked him. It explained what really was the problem.

Don't feel bad, I never get e-mails with my rejections.

I don't have a problem receiving emails with rejections...

As for your pictures... That first one would have been so nice if you'd have gotten the whole train in... (down to the rails) The mountain in the background is nice, and it should have flown for that reason, considering all the artsy landscape shots that have gone up as of late.

I'd try to get in position to take that one again, if you can.

The second one is really obscured by the brush in the foreground.

Good luck.
