Default Your Best Train-less/Rail-less Shots

Obviously you all take photography pretty seriously, which would make me guess that you've got shots that don't involve trains. Share a few!

Honorary Catcher, Arlington, TX

Girl + Guitar, Boston, MA

Emily's Ink, Hawi, HI

Lightning, Norman, OK

The lightning shot was probably the most fun to take... if you've never stood atop a 16 story building during a thunderstorm, I highly recommend that you try it sometime.

Also, I need to get some more people in my train shots... they're interesting to look at.

It's hard to choose, but people always go crazy over this pair of sunset shots...

People always really like either the first or the second, but never both equally.

Thumbs up

I really like this thread, it gets us railfans a chance to show our other interests. I am a dog lover so I take a lot of pictures of our farm dogs and our house dog. I am also a Mustang lover and take what my freinds say is ''to many'' pictures of .

The first is of my Pomeranian named him Killer, The other 2 dogs are farm dogs named Rebel and Watcher. The car is my 06' Mustang GT another interest of mine besides Railfanning. I know my layout is Rail related but it's still cool. I am looking forward to what other people have.

This would be my latest shot that I really like, although, as you can see it's far from perfect. Reflection of a City
If only trains still rolled over that bridge...

Also I really like this

I always enjoy seeing what everyone shoots besides rail related stuff.

I guess this one is slightly rail related.

Totally random sampling...
I will have to dig up my road shots, though most are on film.

In the mean time;

Huh, just realized I don't have a single picture on this thread taken with a dizzler.
Let's start out with something that's a tiny bit noisy.

Follow it up with some ducks

I don't even remember how I edited this landscape.

Since I'm having so much fun showcasing all the catagories, why not go for a part 2?
Who doesn't like boosting a rebel to 1600 ISO?

Macro, except only kinda sorta.

And maybe wildlife to end it on.

Wow, that's one of the best wildlife shots in detail and sharpness I've ever seen out of a 350D. Were you using the 100-400 lens on that?
