These type of shots really need a caption, I need to have some idea what im looking at.

The signs take away from the image, they don't connect to anything else found in the scene (that I can see, anyway). They are pretty nice looking landscape shots though aside from the signs.

I like the No Clearance sign in the shot, but the B&W conversions are really bad, to be blunt. There's nocontrast to speak of and in one shot, we're looking at the back of two sgns that in turn block views of the roadbed. Why? This is the one that should have got PEQ.

Very good point. That is exactly what I thought when I looked at the picture. It is a pretty cool shot but you need an explanation of what it is.

I disagree about the B&W; it is what I like in both images. With some more work, they both would look good in monochrome.

I agree that the shots don't work because the signs distract rather than attract the eye.
