I took a peak at Rolan's shot. That unit is almost assuredly ex FEC. The second generation air intake vents, no dynamics, and added r/c operation yellow lights on the cab roof are a dead giveaway.

G&W is renumbering many of the units they paint into a corporate-wide series loosely based on horsepower.

Ther two FEC motors were 505 and 506. Looks like they left Florida in 2009 and got sent to the CFE and get new initials inside the hurrican logo. I'll try to find out which (or both) got painted this weekend.

Looks like both of the ex-FEC motors were repainted.

South Carolina Central Railroad Bishopville Local

Reginald McDowell shared this yesterday. I also got an unconfirmed report that a third unit got repainted and was renumbered #1533. My hunch is that this is the ex-ATSF GP7 which had worn the number 2027, but that's not confirmed.

It seems GWI has decided to renumber all GP38-2's into the 2000 series, the ex-BAYL units on the GSWR recieved numbers 2014 and 2015. Guess its to allow easy power swapping.
