Default N00b needs info !

Hi guys!

I'm relatively new to the rail fanning scene as trains around New Zealand aren't that easy to find !

However I'm after some information on a cable car I'd like to upload and I've tried everywhere for the info on it. made numerous toll calls and surfed wikipedia etc and the net for hours to no avail !!

Any info on the following image would be much appreciated !

well, putting "Wellington Cable Car" into Google turns up this page as the very first item! And the web page has a photo very similar to yours, with the car just a few meters further along.

http://www.wellingtonnz.com/cablecar/

looks like several of the other top 10 links may be pertinent also. You can email the organization, I presume, with whatever questions you have.

I am quite curious as to what info you might require that you were not able to find with web surfing and toll calls and an email to the organization that runs the place.

looking here at RP, searching under country=new zealand and "wellington" as a keyword yields the following as the VERY FIRST SHOT

I suggest you contact the photographer.

Why couldn't I find that the first time I looked !

Thanks very much ! I shall upload with the same info then. Just thought it might warrant a reject if the info was incorrect.

Cheers !

I thought the cable car might have a manufacturer name , sub type etc at least. yet the organisation couldn't tell me anything except theres one in a museum Like I said I'm relatively new to it all.

Thanks again.

The museum couldn't help you either? Interesting.

The people at the museum just work there. I don't think they have a clue about anything but admission prices to tell you the truth !

Anyhow it's now in the Queue so we;ll see how she goes ! Thanks for the help!

I think he was referring to the fact that he just came over from JP.net and so did this photographer. Aka, an invasion of new JP guys.
