Are there any Katy Railroad fans out there? If so, I would like hear from you. One of my uncles was a baggageman on the Texas Special, a beautiful streamliner.
I used to love watching them come thru St. Charles, Mo as a kid. The track has now been removed and it is known as the Katy trail that runs for miles thru Missouri. Here is a link for some great history of the old MKT line. http://www.katyrailroad.org/
