Rejection Blues

This was 40 minutes after sunset with train still at good speed. It was nice evening waiting along the coast, train on time. I thought the image has some good qualities and good light.

Not really blue about just a play on the photo and looking for feedback.

While I am a it I guess the switch stand did this one in, or???

Increase the exposure on the first one and I think you'll overcome the "Lighting too Dark" rejection.

On the second, too many distracting elements with the existing composition. The station sign on the left, the switch stand in the foreground, and the elevator to the right. The elements aren't there to compliment one another in this format, but there may be something here... Even if it's a vertical with only one of the three aforementioned elements.

Thanks, was a little skeptical, often correcting one thing creates another problem.

I agree with the second, like a puzzle, has the pieces but they are in the wrong places. As a fan I liked the sign because it put the train on the WSOR, not just somewhere but ......
