Default Need Some Help

Hey Guys, I've been having a problem lately with photos being accepted to the website but when the photo is brought up there is information missing on the page. Chris Kilroy said it might be a problem with the file itself. I have checked everything I can think of (file format, properties) but everything seems fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Photo ID: 204842.

Photo looks fine. The page cuts off below the photo information, so the remarks are not shown, nor is anything below that, so no one can leave you a comment or look at your EXIF.

I'm puzzled by Chris' comment. I don't see how the jpg has anything to do with the display of information below it, as that information is not within the file but is entered into a form at time of upload.

I opened up a different shot, then in the URL line I manually changed the shot number to the one given.

Thanks, Chris. I just think it's kind of odd that there is no option for photo ID # in any of the search fields.

But what's even odder is the problem the OP is having with that picture. Where's the rest of the page?? I guess they don't want people to leave comments on that picture. haha

This appears to be a failed upload problem. Similar instances occur when the "thank you for your photo contribution" page is accidentally refreshed, the next photo ID available is taken by a blank box with no photographer info and all the same other info as the original photo. Your photo does not have a photographer showing on the main page, but yet it shows on the forums when linked to:

PhotoID: 204842

That is very strange. If you go into your photo stats area in the members section, is that photo shown? If so, I would try using the resubmit feature to try and correct it. If it's not shown, I would have the admin remove that photo and then I would submit a new copy.

I believe that if there was a problem with the file itself, you would simply get one of the warning messages indicating that the EXIF data was bad. This issue actually appears to be a problem during the upload. I would try reuploading.
