Question Train derailment 1969

Does anyone have photos or info on a derailment of a train carrying autos near Attica, NY in 1969, or know of anyone who might have info? Thanks

I suspect you have your date wrong or the accident may be listed by another location. See the following link - look for "ICC Historical..."

That's a great site. Thank you. Is it possible that there were derailments not reported if there were no injuries?

Unfortunately, that accident is not on the NTSB list. A retired EL Buffalo Division engineman said he remembers the accident and might have a newspaper clipping with an aerial photo showing cars including autoracks derailed. The accident occurred on Denton Corners Road, about 2 miles west of the Portage Bridge after an eastbound freight hit a highway paver at the crossing. The crew had to be dug out of the gravel that had filled the cab. I was hoping someone might have pics.
