Default Functioning EMD F / E units in Northeast?

Other than the PRR E8 and the NS OCS are there any other of these older units that are still used regularly in the Northeast? Gettysburg scenic has 4 units but they cancelled their 2009 season and I am really itching to see some of these units in action this year.

Are there any other tourist railroads that run F units around? I tried doing some research online but cant find anything.

The Potomac Eagle has F's and GP's - don't know how often the F's are used.

Currently sitting at the Medina Railroad Museum in Medina, NY. The owner is hoping to get them running eventually, but I'll believe it when I see it...nevertheless, they are a pleasure to shoot, and I have donated money to the cause in the past. The owner has several vintage NYC coaches to go with them to boot.

Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, NH runs at least one EMD locomotive. They have a nice railfan day in the fall.

Keith,

The West Virginia Central located in Elkins, WV. uses a F7 A&B in WM paint, they also use a BL2 also in WM paint. The power is usually kept at their yard in Belington, WV. I don't have any decent shots of the BL2 but below is the F's. It's worth a trip down there as there are quite a few scenic locations to shoot.

Here is a shot with the BL2 in the background.

They also have an old Alco that is basically a shell with a control stand in it, but I don't think she has seen action in quite a while.

Don't know how far you're willing to go but there are two places in the Cleveland, OH area that run carbody units.
The Lorain & West Virginia has an E8A, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has four FPA-4s.

They have 3 that run. B&M F7A 4266, and ex CN FP9A's 6505 and 6516.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm sure the drives will be worth it when I get a chance to make the trips!

Too bad Gettysburg cancelled the 09 season, they have 4 units last I checked and nice areas to photograph, I think they still run a freight service but they usually use a GP9 for that, not the F units, I'm trying to hunt down more info on that as well.

Two operating E-units in Syracuse, NY.
usually stored at the NY State Fairgrounds.
they are used on excursions a few times a year.

(despite the paintscheme, neither is original DL&W, both are originally PRR)

Erie 833 is in Ringoes, NJ:

Good to see #4068 & mate in their new home. Last saw them about a year ago on N&E rails getting prepped for their trip.

I believe the Maine Eastern also operates some EMD cab units, although I know they also roster F40PHs.
