Default Railfanning OKC

I have to go to Oklahoma City in June for a class...is there any good spots for some afternoon shots in the area?

Judging by the pics on here there must not be too many places.

Thanks!

Well, this is weird...a few hours ago I linked one of your pics in another thread, and here you are posting for this first time in almost a year.

Cool I live in Muskogee which is about 2 hours away from OKC. I have railfaned there a couple of times and haven't ever found a great spot but it is almost always very high traffic. Just get track side. If you go out of the city I am sure you can find some nice spots.

Barnstormer, I may be able to swing that way. I'm thinking I'll be getting out of these classes around 3:30 in the afternoon, and hour or two doesn't bother me with the extended summer light. Are the spots there easy to find and to get to?

It depends of coarse. Some are easy some are a bit more hard. It really varies greatly and I would do some looking on google maps. It sometimes helps to at least see the area before you can actually see it.
