Default overexposed

hi all
this pic was rejected for
overexposed
bad contrast

i know that there is high sun rays in it but i canot fix the overexposed in it also i donot know where is the bad contrast in it.
any suggestions?

The photo is really bright, if you have a photo program you could darken it a little.

If you can solve the overexposure aspect,that's actually a very cool shot. Try to darken it a bit in post processing and upload again. I like it!

i made it more dark to this level and it was rejected again for overexposed again.so can any one try on it?

It is still too bright, but I think that might have been caused by the sun rays on the locomtoive. Try making it darker, and if the image becomes too dark, and is rejected for too dark, then I would appeal explaining the situation.

The first rejected shot is actually better than the second one. For some reason, it looks sharper. The other thing about this shot which matters in a Railpictures sort of way is the blown out sky which probably cannot be post processed away. One thing to think about might be to make it a black and white shot. I really like the shot, but it may be a struggle to get it accepted into RP.
