Undersharpened (Soft): Help

This one got rejected for being undersharpend I don't see it what do you think ?

Nothing a little 50/0.3/0 USM won't fix.

But I'm not crazy about the cropping...it feels like the train is too low in the frame which means there's too much dead space up top.

It definitely needs sharpening. I brought it into GIMP and adjusted the image with a simple sharpen of +20 and it looks much better. I agree with the previous post--it needs cropping off the top.

Please feel free to crop so I can see what you come up with. I was trying to get as much scenery as possible maybe I went a little too much. I also crop to a 8x10 Cropping in lightroom should I use another setting or crop ratio?

I'd personally prefer to see the track in the foreground trail off in the distance.

I see a crop like the attached. The ratio is 12:8, which I think is needed to show the whole train. The train may still be too low in the frame.

I also increased the blue saturation to improve the look of the sky.
