Default Digital Noise - Grain Rejection

Help - I'm not seeing what the screener and appeals screener is seeing. This photo was rejected for Digital Noise - Grain and upon appeal was rejected again. It is a digital photo shot at my normal setting of 400 ISO on this particular camera. That's the setting I use for about 98% of the photos I shoot with this camera and I've never been dinged for noise from this camera.

Where should I be looking to see what they are seeing?

Thanks - Indcline.

Different frame - different result. This is the frame after the one was rejected. I'm still curious as to what two screeners saw - as I'm not able to see whatever it is they saw.

I dont see the noise either, but as several screeners can attest, I am bad to the point where I ask for extra eyes on my higher iso night shots to make sure the noise isn't crazy.

I don't see any noticeable noise, but maybe the dirty nose set them off? Also, both shots look unlevel to me.

The rat thinks it is unlevel, too. It leans a little to the right, but not enough that I consider it a fatal flaw.

It's the UP, all of their power is filthy.

The cloud layer in the red box seems to cause the grainy issue.

In this image it is not much, but were this my image, I would select this area and use the moire tool on it to fuzz it out a tad.

I have had this issue on certain cloud layers in the past.

I am surprised he has not kicked you out of his group - but then you have not directly told him he is full of it.

He booted me from his FB page and now feels compelled to leave comments on my Flickr page.

It would have been easier to just delete the comments that he found threatening to his authority of his group, but no, he has to do everything the hard way.

I see no noise in that cloud layer. And even if it is there, it's no where near enough to warrant a rejection for it. I see noise all the time in photos on the database, but this is very minimal at best.

But it's enough to warrant a rejection for unlevel in order to keep the unlevel rejections on this site consistent. I quite often see rejections for unlevel that are a lot less obvious than this.

Here is an example: http://forums.railpictures.net/showthread.php?t=14712
