Default Original Pickens Is Gone

According to a post on the Carolina Rails Facebook page, they were ripping out the rails on the original Pickens in Easley last Friday. Not sure if they were starting there or ending there, but apparently the Baldwin #2 has been left in Pickens as a display.

CLCX moved it's shops from Pickens to the other Pickens line somewhere around Belton.

Gluck is where I was told it was being built, but have not been by there to validate this. Thanks for the report, Joe. That was one of the first shortlines I photographed after switching to slide film in the late 90s. PICK 2 was sitting on the outskirts of Easley by the concrete company, a spot many of us likely photographed it over the years.
