Cell Phone Photogrpahy
Obviously cell phones still haven't met the quality of DSLRs, but after toying around with my wife's new Iphone 6 I am impressed. Thinking more along the lines of last ditch, I don't have my DSLR and this is an amazing shot of I have to take kind of scenario. Has anyone has luck with Cell phone cameras and photos here on RP?

There's quite a few on RP. Doesn't take a whole lot to shoot a sunny day wedge, so I could see it being of use for good lighting situations.

This was discussed here a few weeks ago. I think I found one from 2010 or so, someone else also found an cell phone shot on RP from quite a number of years ago.
I am too cheap to buy a high-end cell phone with good camera, but I have a good digicam that I have used to put a number of shots on RP. It is with me a good bit of the time when I am out; anytime I think I might get to the tracks for a few minutes.

I tried it once and actually succeeded in getting a cell shot on.

I have at least two I can think of, both with older iPhones (the quality has improved today).

As noted earlier, sunny day (and no cropping) they can come out pretty nice.

One that I know of taken by a good friend of mine. This was with a Galaxy 5X or some variant of that I believe.

"F/8 and be there" - says nothing about what to be there with !
Ironically, I've had times where my cell phone seemed to be more capable then my DSLR, especially at night. 'Course, once you view larger then 2"x3" it's often another story. But, I'll agree - good light can really come to the aid of a lower quality equipment.

I think John Ryan wins with a February 1, 2009 shot:

That's the earliest I recall seeing a cell phone pic on RP.

And Corvettes can be used to haul lumber.
Doesn't mean they are good for it.

Maybe not good for it, but you'll definitely get your lumber to its destination much quicker!
