Probably. I remember a similar set of comments a couple of years ago - they were removed by admin after the Forum thread started. Still a strange user name on the comment on the first linked photo. Other linked photos in the thread still have the comments.

Not sure if this is the case here but on some forums it is cool to call someone a profanity as in you are ----- for getting a good shot ie a complement.

Wow - I've had comments NOT accepted because I used ellipses (comments were actually grammatically correct but I guess the unusual punctuation confused the moderators). Amazing that got through.

We've screened and accepted almost 340,000 comments and rejected who knows how many more. Mistakes happen occasionally, unfortunately. Sorry we aren't all as perfect as you are, Troy. We'll try hard to do better in the future.

I think these issues would be better addressed directly with the administrators but my perception is that does not usually work too well?? Maybe something that could be addressed is an link to specifically to address site issues?
