I don't remember where I heard this, but statistically, a car is hit by a train every five hours in America(?).

Actually I heard it is 5 minutes, although 5 hours sounds more realistic.

UPDATE: I heard on another forum that the reason for the collision was that a freight had cleared in the other direction, and cars immediately started going around. The sign says 2 TRACKS Idiot! These nuts "followed the leader" around the crossing and arrived just in time.

wow people upstate are getting dumb... can't exactly feel to bad for them as they had it coming sooner or later if they're going to go gate hopping.
