Levelness inquiry

I took a few pictures today featuring a recent acquisition. Little too much for RP to handle (not unexpected) but I was curious about how level it was. I leveled in camera and had some wide angle distortion. I suspect the nightstand wasn't straight on and the camera angle may have exaggerated it. With the alarm clock leaning that doesn't help the feel. I adjusted the wide angle distortion and really wasn't pleased with the outcome. It did nothing for the appearance of level. So, I left the distortion and for giggles leveled off the table. Then, it looked like the subject was going to fall out of bed!

Take a peek, tell my what you think. Am I losing my marbles? (truth be told I lost them awhile back)

Flagman needs to be a flagwoman...and the camera panned to the right a little more...and the blankets pulled back a little...and...

THEN it would get accepted.

The rejection wasn't a surprise at all. I figured it would be a little too far out of the box for them. I think you may be on to something. Railroad boudoir photos...huh...this just might work! Reminds me of my moto, "get accepted or banned trying!"

Level /unlevel - doesn't jump out to me, looks fine on a notebook screen.

As for the image, more or less, I like it - literally, add more and add "the human element" or crop tighter to better focus on what's there and not what's cut off in the scene.
