There are very few publications catering solely to shortline railroad fans. Some of you know that I have written feature articles for The Short Line , but I'm not sure how many of you have ever had an opportunity to see what the magazine looks like.

I come from an era in which the biggest goal was to have a photo or article published in a magazine. I would encourage some of our younger fans who have only lived life in the digital side of our hobby to contribute, and those who enjoy printed material to consider supporting one of few organizations dedicated to this railroading community.
